Job Overview

Candidate will be responsible to ensure all guidelines and requirements for contents claims are achieved. Thorough reviews will require ability to use reasonable judgement and apply an array of capabilities to complete assignments with exceptional attention to detail. While some work will be assigned independently, working as a team is encouraged in the ICS Contents Department. When necessary, field inspections may take place and can include detailed inventory capture of damaged personal property or inspections with vendors to oversee that all parties have clear direction

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Personal Property Specialist to utilize their skills and facilitate contents claims to closure. This position will require a very high level of attention to detail, pricing and review of reports as well as field inspections when necessary.

Specific job duties include:

  • Conduct and manage on-site insurance property claim inventory assignments pursuant to ICS field inventory processes
  • Perform work assignments in a safe and concise manner, following all ICS safety standards
  • Complete all tasks assigned in a diligent manner consistent with department, facility or operational and corporate goals and objectives
  • Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations with adjusters
  • Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Solid knowledge and experience with personal property is a must.
  • Restoration industry experience a plus.
  • Property and Casualty claim experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions (post loss insurance claims).
  • Work independent of direct onsite supervision
  • Proficient in MS products. Highlighting on Excel:  2 years
  • Strong problem solving, project management skills while maintaining excellent customer service with client policyholder and client claim staff
  • Present in a professional manner both in personal and vehicle appearance
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing and communication skills
  • Laptop Computer with Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in MS Products, highlighting on Excel: 2 years (including knowledge of formulas)
  • Reliable personal vehicle available for travel to various site locations
  • Results oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without any physical restrictions.
